Multiplayer is the fastest-growing, most engaging genre in gaming — but schools lack the tools to teach it effectively. Alteruna brings easy setup and prototyping – focuses on gameplay, not networking. Deployment is flexible in the Alteruna cloud or on-promises.

This page displays the new Alteruna version (V2), adapted for schools and enterprises.

Our platform is designed to support developers of all levels — including high school students, who are already building real projects with us.

Built with Education in Mind

The team behind Alteruna has deep experience in educational software and teaching:

  • Lectures and workshops at gaming schools and universities

  • Multiplayer programming courses at Yrgo (Gothenburg) and FutureGames (Stockholm)

  • Trusted by educational institutions worldwide

Everyone Can Join In

We’re proud to support a growing community:

  • 15,000+ started projects

  • 800+ developers on our Discord

Our tutorials, Discord, and reday-made components, are helping every student participate, not just the most advanced coders.
